Muskrat Dam
Muskrat Dam is a remote First Nation community of approximately 300 people. We are located in North Western Ontario on the Severn River. The people here are Oji-Cree with the majority still speaking the Anishiniimowin Language.

Transportation
Families are flown into the community. From the minute you get here we have client passenger vans to get you to the centre and throughout the community.
Family Housing Units
There are 5 family housing units available with each unit providing all the typical facilities such as kitchen, bathroom, living area, and bedrooms.

Our main centre is divided into:
- Classroom & Shared Activity Room
- Counselling Rooms
- Child Activitiy Room
- Kitchen
- Lounge
- Laundry Room
- Staff Offices
Outdoor Facilities
The Treatment Centre overlooks Blackwater Bay on the Severn River. For our outdoor faciliities we have a tradiitional tipi that we use for outdoor cooking and gatherings. We also have canoeing, fishing and other outdoor activities available.
Treatment Group Activities
While staying in the Treatmnet program referrals can expect to particiapte in a number of events both at the Centre and in the community. These events include:
- A.A. meetings
- Dry socials
- Spiritual gatherings
- Feasts and Community Events
- Sports and recreation
- Traditional and cultural activities
- Leisure activities
